Holidays in Israel in the winter

The time when it is better to go on vacation to Israel definitely falls in autumn and early spring. Moreover, both of these periods are ideal for any type of holiday in the country. Spring with its still relatively mild temperatures and colorful blooms is the time when it is better to go to Israel for excursions. Jerusalem with its temples and Gethsemane gardens, Bahai gardens, the Nabeul desert – all this is better to see in the spring. But the summer heat is a period when it is not worth going to Israel, even for the sake of a beach holiday. It is so hot here that even the seas are not refreshing. But the off-season is just the time when it’s worth flying to Israel, among other things, for swimming in the Red and Mediterranean Seas. In the Red Sea, you can swim in general all year long, so here you can splash in plenty even in winter.

The high season in Israel is all autumn and the period from late February to May. At this time, most tourists rush here, trying to avoid the summer heat and winter rains. But the low season in Israel just falls on winter and summer. Prices at this time are significantly reduced.

Holidays in Israel in the winter
Israel
Weather in Israel in the winter is very warm. If in Jerusalem and other cities of the northern and central regions the air temperature is kept at + 10 ° C, then on the Red Sea it rarely drops below + 23 ° C. So on the Red Sea, even in winter, the rest will be just great. But in the rest of Israel, it often rains in winter, so excursions can be ruined.

If you managed to get to Israel not just in the winter, but also during the snowfall on Mount Hermon, then do not miss the rare chance – go skiing on the slopes of this unique resort. Hurry up – snow rarely lies longer than a week.

Israel in the spring
The weather in Israel in the spring is perfect for excursions, trips to the historical centers of cities and long trips around the country. The heat has not come yet; everything is in bloom. You can go to the Red, and in May, to the Mediterranean Sea, or go to the Dead Sea for medical procedures. The high season is in full swing, and it continues until May, when the heat is rapidly catching up with the summer.

The Dead Sea
Summer in Israel is a dead season. Sea water is heated so that even swimming does not bring any pleasure. Due to the intense heat, the salty waves of the Dead Sea are not very suitable for medical procedures. And there is nothing to say about excursions. In such heat, visiting temples and museums is simply unthinkable.

Israel in the fall
Autumn in Israel is the second favorable period for a trip to the country. In September it is still almost summer-like hot. But October is becoming a real velvet season in Israel. The weather in Israel in the autumn allows not only swimming, but also visiting all the desired places, visiting the centers of Jerusalem, Jaffa and other cities.
